So a few friends where going to an 80’s club at the weekend and i had to help 80’s them up. If you grew up like i did in the 80’s you would remember the backcombed hairsprayed hair all the jangly bling round wrists and necks and omg the makeup.
Now your probably wondering how i can get glitter in here. I am the proud owner of some very sparkly eye makeup which i have never worn , i dnt go out.Fast forward……..friends come to my house and after much hairspray (enviromently friendly) and raiding my 80’s jewellery box, yup i still have some, it was make up time.
I have glittered everything, i applied glitter eyeshadow with some stronger cyndi lauper type colours, eyeliner with yup you got it, glitter in it, completely safe although i actually question that at times and sparkly glitter eyeshadow.
Guess who’s a sucker for the sparkly brochure bought makeup at christmas.By the time i was done, the girlies where seeing flashing lights without actually being in the club. The colours were dancing off their eyes as lights hit them.
Needless to say, their night was a success and i may have converted a few more people to actually like glittery things…..
