It was not long before we visited this place in Kuwait…House of Mirrors is a pleasant and a trippy experience with the owner Lidia al-Qattan, the widow of Khalifa al-Qattan, a renowned Kuwaiti artist. She started decorating one small wall with mirrors and through time more and more walls were decorated until the whole house inside and out was covered with mirrors.
Lidia is warm, welcoming and has an aura to her personality.. we loved the way she was engaging us with each minute details. I took us like some two hours and thirty minutes to see through the complete property and it left me awestruck.This lady has immense creativity and patience to do all this work alone by herself.. BRAVO….
If you are willing to go to explore this amazing property..you should just book the tour in advance…. The cost of the tour is KD2 per person on weekdays and KD3 on weekends.
