Kat Von D Mini Lipstick Set | REVIEW

I hadn’t consciously planned on sharing gift guide posts, but with this post and my recent Glamglow Supermud Gift Set post (read it here) it seems to have fallen perfectly in line with Christmas shopping time. Except the truth of the matter is, I bought these for myself and not with anyone else in mind #sorrynotsorry.

I was browsing on Debenhams recently, as I had some store credit from some returns and was feeling like treating myself. I picked up the Nails Inc. Sparkle Like A Unicorn nail duo (featured in this post), a replacement MAC Extended Play Gigablack mascara (which is the ONLY mascara I will use on my lower lashes) and then started looking at the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks. You might have seen in my Most Worn Liquid Lipsticks post (read it here) that I featured Bow n Arrow by KVD and given how much I love the formula I wanted to try some more shades. Then I spotted the Mini Lipstick Set.

The set contains 8 mini liquid lipsticks which range from nudes through warm tones to black. No gonna lie, I tried on the black lipstick straight away and I loved it but I really don’t think I’m confident enough to rock a black lip (and I’m probably too old for that, right?).

Debenhams currently have the set on sale so it is only £37.80, but it usually retails at £42 (available here). Each lipstick is 3ml and I love that they’re dinky and purse friendly because I have a drawer full of liquid lipsticks and I’ve never once used one up. So being able to have a load more which don’t take up as much space really appealed to me.

Exorcism (ripe blackberry) | Lovecraft (mauve pink nude) | Ludwig (tawny rose)

Sanctuary (cool sepia) | Hawkwind (nude sienna) | Damned (black cherry)

Witches (pitch black) | Madrid (warm redwood)

This set contains the perfect Autumn / Winter shades for me and the formula is one of the best on the market. They’re long lasting and comfortable on the lips. The doe foot applicator is one of my favourites too as you can get a clean line without needing to search for a matching lip liner. If you’re struggling to buy a gift for a beauty lover, or you’re writing your own Christmas list to Santa then you should definitely check it out.

Thank you so much for reading

Rhi xx
