Whyborne & Griffin
review 1: This was the best one yet for me. The final scene at Stormhaven was so vivid, that I went back and read it right after finishing the book. I just wanted to relive it. I loved the whole book. I was hesitant to read it at first. Griffin's confinement, I was sure would make it painful to read. But the visit of his family and the drama from that was enough of a buffer to the horrors of the past. And seeing Whyborne kick ass and take names was amazing. I just wish his father could have seen him in action. All done while dressed in drag!
review 2: More of Griffin's story is told. His family comes to visit and bring Cousin Ruth...who they hope he will marry. Something Whyborne is really hurt over. Even though Griffin assures him that's not going to happen. Then th
... moreey're suddenly involved with solving a murder, which soon is reveal3ed to have something to do with Stormhaven, the institution run by the same man that had Griffin committed. If Whyborne had any idea how bad that was for him, he learns its much worse. Really good story, I wish that their families would eventually be supportive of them. At least they have Whyborne's mother. less
