review 1: Книгата много ми хареса , носеше приключенски дух ,исторически факти и любовна история в себе си.Хареса ми и стилът на писане на авторката , за мен това беше първа среща с нея, може би с изключение на някои цинизми от време на време , които не ми се връзваха много..., но определено събуди интереса ми и към другите и книги. Дадох 4 , а не 5 звезди ,може би заради това , че в един момент мистерията стана твърде голяма и твърде заплетена и... more чак губех нишката на нещата , но определено поддържаше интереса ми.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. If I had to compare it to something else I've read and liked, I'd compare it to The Crown by Nancy Bilyeau. It's a historical mystery wherein two main characters work together to find answers and prevent something catastrophic from happening. I wouldn't call call it perfectly written, but the story is well paced and entertaining, which makes it worthwhile as far as I'm concerned. I also liked the fact that it is set in various places in Italy. I had just been to Italy at the time I read this book, so it was fun to "visit" some of the same places through these characters. less
