Mount Pinatubo – Dayhike

This is my #YearEndGala of 2017. I’ve always wanted to see how wonderful this mountain is. Fortunately I saw an event where my schedule is fitted. Here’s to share my own adventure.

Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano in the Cabusilan Mountains on the island of Luzon, near the tri-point of the Philippine provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga.

The volcano today is a safe place to visit. The crater of the volcano is a beautiful lake that and the water is crystal clear. However it is advised not to swim in the water of the lake.

Although the volcano is still active, it is very closely monitored, hence trekking there is a safe activity, especially when it is done in the presence of local guides who know the area.
