I received this lovely postcard at the beginning of April from Irene Latham, writer and poet, who has been posting ARTSPEAK! Portrait poems, and hosting the Progressive Poem on her blog this month. Check out both, they are wonderful! The opposite side of the card says, “HAPPY NATIONAL POETRY MONTH! The art image is called Birmingham Summer by Melissa Shultz-Jones, gouache on paper.
