I want to start off first by saying THANK YOU! You are reading my very first blog post which means you are starting this journey to my dreams with me. I hope that you will continue to support and enjoy this blog.
Okay, let’s get started…
I am Rachel Lee, the owner of Dear Tyler,. I have wanted to start a blog for years but never took the dive into the blogging world. “Why now?” you may ask.. well the reason is that I recently moved away from my home state that I’ve lived in for 25 years. I have taken a leap out of my comfort zone so I thought “WHY NOT NOW?!” So here I am typing to you and getting started on a dream of mine.
So like I said, I recently moved from my home state which was a GIANT leap for me. My boyfriend of 4 years proposed to me on November 21, 2017 and as you may have guessed he lives out of state (however, we are from the same area!) I quit a job I loved, I left my friends and family, and most importantly I did something I never thought I would do (leave Arkansas.) So at the end of December I packed my bags, loaded my car, and my best friend and I hit the long road from Arkansas to Virginia. (Side-note: I have the BEST best friend ever for driving 17 hours with me!!!!)
The purpose of this blog is to share a peek into my life and to share (what I hope you will think is) great fashion and beauty. I will share a blog post weekly with you on fashion, beauty, or lifestyle. I hope to make this a blog you want to follow weekly. I want to share my first outfit inspiration to you. Here I wore a navy blue chenille sweater with flare sleeves, white skinny jeans, and over-the-knee tan suede boots. I am totally in LOVE with the chenille look, but who isn’t?! I added these suede boots because every time I have worn them I’ve gotten a compliment from complete strangers, plus they are so warm, cute, and best of all COMFORTABLE!
