Torrential downpours absolutely won’t stop paddle board enthusiasts, no matter the day, but especially not when they are paddling for a cause as important as breast cancer research. Held this morning at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor, the seventh annual “Hamptons Paddle and Party for Pink” race, featuring pro surfer|paddle board inventor Laird Hamilton and pro volleyballer Gabrielle Reece, got off to a terrific, if soaking wet, start.
