War is coming between humans and Arvies, leaving me trapped between two enemies.
This time, I don’t think I’ll survive.
The government will stop at nothing to get me back in their clutches. They want what’s inside me- a power I call Venge -and will use my greatest weakness to bring me to my knees.
The Arvies know of my gift, and use my telepathy and their numbers, in an effort to take me out.
My name is Abigail Park, and I promise retribution against those who’ve wronged me, even if it’s the last thing I do.

It is the conclusion to the fucked up adventures of a young girl forced to go through death and loss over and over again… so let’s begin!
Super sad to see it end after the exciting two days we had together, but who doesn’t like satisfying endings? And poor Abi needs a break. She’s only been through hell and back, and just as she catches a break, she’s forced once more into something she doesn’t whole-heartedly agree with. And it may be the last time anyone ever forces her to do a single thing again.
I had a few questions about the side characters because it took me out of the story enough times to curiously wonder #wth, but otherwise I don’t really have anything bad to criticize. After devouring the fifth book, however, I did begin to notice the repetitiveness in the writing, but it made for easy reading, and that’s not even including the writing style and fast tone of the book. I enjoyed Abi’s POV, that of a young person old enough to handle the world on her shoulders but young enough to giggle despite almost dying more times than I can count (or is that survival?). There were times when I’d feel a bit torn at her need to get away from the bunkers. One one hand I totally get and supported her freedom, but on the other hand, I felt really bad about the thousands of people that would’ve died if she hadn’t been forced into some situations. The people she’s met throughout this series come up for one last time, and it was nice to see them. The ending felt a little fast compared to the way everything else was paced, but it was a series I found most entertaining.
This is an action-packed conclusion to a series with a sickeningly sweet romance that left me reeling, laughing, low key hiding in the dark and overall satisfied.
