Cape Town is known for its amazingly fresh seafood especially the fresh snoek.
I know not everyone is a fishyfood lover but to tell you the truth, you sort of become one when you move to Cape Town. Not only is fish one of the healthiest proteins but it is really very versatile (if prepared correctly of cause-look at me tryin’ the coaching life).
Hout Bay is the place that got my bf & I hooked on fish and chips although there are legit like a 100 places you can get fish and chips from, but this IS THE BEST!
We tried the Mariner’s Wharf the first time we visited Hout Bay and it was yummy, the portions were super huge though, I literally had enough to last me a week..
The second time we went to Hout Bay we went to Fish on the Rocks which is deemed thee best and it was legit the best I’ve had. it was a rainy day and that hot steamy fish with the chills sauce and hot chips hit my spot!( my stomach yo!) (I didn’t take any pictures unfort!!:()
Apart from the deliciousness we experienced great views as well. I mean Cape Town is made up of great views like everywhere. It’s really picturesque!
There is also seals at the bay that the people (trainers? owners? fishermen?) feed and you get to touch him/her if they are in a good mood. It’s very cool to get up close and personal with these creatures, really majestic. They are really tame and don’t seem like the crazy type.
Anyway enough words, here are some pictures
