I have enough new photos that I took on Second Life that I can now feature in a new post from that virtual universe. Yay!
I been experimenting with the different settings, sometimes entire sims can be just too laggy even when you derender everyone else around you. And finding just a backgrounds or backdrops made by the talented creators is all that I need to create a photo. The above photo however was taken at a sim District 18, a sci-fi/cyberpunk roleplay world. However my outfit is definitely not something from a futuristic set. The top is by Hime Dream and it’s so cute! The gamer belt along with Sailor Moon’s compact is a favourite add-on.
This is my most recent upload on my flickr stream and taken in my cottage in front of my blogging corner, where I’m usually parked at if I’m not deciding to explore the rest of the Second Life grid. My hair in real life is ombre, dark brown almost black with caramel-ish/blonde tips, I went with that look for ages in-world too. It has always been Dela hair, but this week I switched to Runaway hair just because she had more variety in her ombre and I wanted a change. I also made my eyes hazel, not that you can tell in the photo.
I am still crying out for clothes from the designer that is pink and cute but not lingerie or borderline teenager/child-like. I find myself returning to the marketplace or main store releases to find items that aren’t worn by every single resident on the grid. The top is by Envious, the skirt itself is Le Fil Casse, Jae stepping up with her raunchy bottoms. Also again this is in my cottage, I re-did the lounge with LAQ bookcases and confetti cake couches by Violetility.
There is a whole lot of drama related to the sim known as Backdrop city but I’m being honest here, I am glad the owner has rezzed out plenty of backgrounds and divided them into categories. Not everyone can afford to buy them whether in gacha mode or not, the above picture is a backdrop that I added all my extra decor into. The dress and jacket are an amazing collaboration between Candydoll and Le Fil Casse. Everything about the ensemble screams my favourite theme.
