Yesterday while walking down to Mansands the path was littered with beautiful orb webs catching the sun. 
Does anyone know what spider leaves the central part of the web this open? I didn’t see any spiders near these webs which are about 8″ – 10″ in diameter and barely off the ground.
I saw a beautiful spider straddling the leaves of Wood Sage .. very similar in shape and size to a Nursery web spider but the markings were different. But it hid before I could get a clear shot of it.
Last year I found these webs .. can anyone identify what spiders might have made them?
