Empower (Embrace #5) by Jessica Shirvington

It has been two years since Violet Eden walked away from the city, her friends, her future and – most importantly – her soulmate, Lincoln. Part angel, part human, Violet is determined to stand by the promises she made to save the one she loves.

Living in the perpetual coldness of a broken soul she survives day to day as a Rogue Grigori in London.

But when an unexpected visitor shows up at her door, the news he bears about someone she swore to protect leaves Violet with no choice.

Even worse, she fears that this might all lead back to the night she tries hardest to forget. And what was taken without her permission.

Empower is the fifth and final book in the Embrace series by Jessica Shirvington. This is it the final battle and it’s gonna be hell.

Violet Eden has been through a lot in these five books and I’ve been right there with her. Through the pain, suffering, fear, losses, journeys, battles, heartbreak and so much more. Violet has grown with each book, she was always a strong character but she got better as time went on, she had to go through things on her own and mature so she can become the person she was always meant to be, the Keshet, the rainbow.

For this one, all of my favorite characters return and we are introduce to another group who fit right in. I am not going to lie, I was bawling over this book. A lot of major events happened in this book and not everyone makes it out. However, a lot of my major questions were finally answered, such as what is Violets ultimate power, what is the name of her angel maker and more importantly what the hell to do about the love triangle that has devastated me over the years (I always loved Lincoln and Phoenix even when Phoenix was acting out).

Overall 5 stars

Empower ended the only way it could have. I have read this series for years and I have loved every book and every moment. I would like to say thank you to Jessica for the Embrace series, it is one of my favorites and I will love it always.
