My first work engagement for the year is in Midsayap, located in North Cotabato. Despite of the rumors concerning Cotabato Area, we became fond of the place, despite of the recent bombing news last December 2016. Actually, we manage to do some “ukay-ukay” at midnight since it’s very cheap and in good quality. The prices range from 10-100 php. I bought one polo for 15 php only. Hahahah.
Where to go?
If you’re in Midsayap or near in the area, one thing you should visit is the Asik-asik Falls located in Alamada, North Cotabato. An almost 2 hours drive away from the city. It is known for it’s awe form. A 30 php entrance fee will be collected for the maintenance of the place.
It is located in the center of this vast field and to be able to reach the majestic falls, you will need to trek an almost 1,000 (estimated) steps of stairs or an estimated 30 mins down trail and an almost 1 hr upward trail, depends on your stamina. Don’t worry, you don’t need an extreme amount of experience to do that, motivation will do.
