review 1: Escaping Heartbreak is an emotional story about Sawyer Evans, a young woman who is living with the heartbreak of her parent’s death 5 years previously, which she feels responsible for. She just concentrates on taking care of her brother Dane & her Uncle Jake.She decides that it is time she left her Uncle’s house & goes & lives in her parent’s lake house. It is there that she comes face to face with her first love Travis Lawson.The story that unfolds is one of second chances & self-awareness for Sawyer, she has to learn to come to terms with her parent’s death &move on.Sawyer is such a lovely character, a sweet & warm young lady. Travis is a strong & sweet young man. Together they make a power couple.I really enjoyed reading this story, Regina Bartley knows how to ... moredraw you in & creates characters that you really want to get to know & wish they were your friends too.This is such a great read.

She never disappoints, Regina, you did it once again! This was such an adorable story of two broken people who actually get a second chance of love. Sawyer was in love with Travis when she was 12 yrs old but that summer was the last they seen of one another till 9 years later. Sawyer moves to their parents lake house to start over after the tragedy of her parents death. Little does she know, that her neighbor wants to get to know her and rekindle a friendship.
