review 1: I love the manga, but it really depressed me she cut her hair... I have a thing for anime/manga women with long hair and not just the way it was cut/reason it was cut, but the fact that it was cut at all really got to me... My boyfriend and I are calling ourselves Nakabe and Loki because we love the ship so much... But Nakabe's ever-growing love for Prince Ceaser detests me. It makes me sorry I ever allowed her name to be used in place of mine... I hope she bucks the hell up in the books to come (own the first six, then going to get up the last half of the series online until I'm caught up) or I may just give up on her... Though Loki will forever be my love... -swoons-
review 2: So far Reimei no Arcana is an engaging tale set in a fantastic world. There are equ... moreal amounts of paranormal and historical elements, the plot is interesting enough to keep me reading, and the characters are relatable. An actual problem, though, is that the mangaka manages to create more or less multi-dimensional characters, making it hard to just cast the things they do or think aside as hate-crimes or plot-device-induced-idiocities. Going to copypaste that review to the tankobons I've read so far and try to write individual reviews from that point on. less
