review 1: Nakaba and the rest journey to the Ajin village to warn them of the nearing onslaught initiated by Belquat. However, as time is wasted in hesitation it is already too late. Nakaba, Caesar, and the rest of their posse pose as hostages so as to protect the Ajin village from being invaded.When the Ajin let Rito, Lemiria, and Nakaba go back to the Belquat soldiers' camp out site, Nakaba discovers a long buried, deep darkness and resolve within Prince Cain's heart, the man leading the troops and the one who will kill Lemiria...
review 2: Loved the continuation - so Nakaba & CAesar go to the Ajin village to warn them of the approaching soldiers & attack but they say that they can defend themselves. They stay overnight & wait for the soldiers to arrive - Lemiria figur... morees out that Nakaba has the Arcana - she's perceptive. And when the soldiers arrive with the new ltina sword (weapons) to attack, they send in a messenger & Cain says they should let Nakaba & Lemiria go & the Ajin pretend to hold Caesar & Belinus & Loki hostage. So Nakaba uses the Arcana & it shows her Cain's sad past - his mother died & he was shunned for his golden hair - the colour of royal hair was black & Caesar had black hair & he'd hated him ever since. His mother, the Queen, was made the concubine & Caesar's mother the Queen - they wanted to erase/hide the fact that a commoner had ever been Queen. :( Poor Cain but it doesn't justify his chocie to kill innocents. He lies to Nakaba, sends her & Lemiria home & Lemiria makes them stop the carriage & in the woods, she tells Nakaba that she has the Arcana of seeing the heart's feelings - & Cain was lying & all he had for Caesar was hatred. Nakaba & Lemiria catch up to Leo, one of the Ajin & go back tot eh village - Nakaba, not Lemiria & the village is aflame & Nakaba confronts Cain & he admits to everything - Caesar swoops in to rescue her & Leo uses his arcana of fire & burns the soldiers - they escape to safety, Caesar & Nakaba. :D - & to be cont. in the next volume There's a little high school Valentine's special & it's adorable - Nakaba & Caesar in high school & this weird dream they have - lol it's hilarious but very cute :) less
