review 1: Early reader chapter books are by necessity short and sweet and to the point. This one was cute but kind of underwhelming. It's intended audience however loved it! I read this with Aidan. We started it last night and today he was begging me to finish it. So... even with a raging case of laryngitis I finished whisper/reading this to him. Perfect for early readers from about K-2 and a definite appeal to those dinosaur fanatics in your world!
review 2: These are great beginning chapter books for kids interested in dinosaurs. Two boys discover a secret cave with a passage back to dinosaur times. Each adventure is focused around a different dinosaur. Not too scary for most young readers despite some ferocious looking covers. The stories are British (and not e... moredited for Americans - yay) so my son is learning some of the differences between British and American English. Good fun. less
