review 1: Dammit! This was fucking bloody hell good! The best vampire story I've read so far and it was way better than Twilight lol :D Not for teenagers :P I can't even put my phone down 'cause I was so excited to finish this so I can start reading the second one. Close to a realistic vampire story. Dark and gritty. It has brilliant, crazy and wild characters like Amaliya and Cian. Argh! Their sex scenes are so damn great you'd wish vampire is real and the power to raise the dead? That was too much to take. This work of Rhiannon will take you to the real vampire world... not the glittery one :P
review 2: I found the beginning of this, for about the first 5th, incredibly slow with painstaking detail that seemed extraneous to the story. I was pleased when it redeemed itse... morelf further on.The main character is fairly likeable with the supporting members engaging enough to keep the story going. By this stage the story had developed keeping up a decent pace.I ended up enjoying this although some of the sentences left something to be desired, and I am actually looking forward to the next book. less
