review 1: I truly enjoyed reading this book. It prompted me to do a great deal of thinking. I truly admired Angelia and her friend, Felesia. I, too, loved the manner in which Angelina ensued that she kept her identity. This is a must read. Those reading it will be intrigued by an awesome piece of work that is not preachy. If I recall nothing from the book, I remember a # of things that were said: 1. Everyone has pain and drama in their lives and we have to talk to others so we do not feel alone when we are going through the trials; 2. Always trust that inner voice; 3. Forgiving doesn't mean you can't move on; 4. It should come as no surprise when those who are saved try to hold you captive with churchy platitudes (when Angelina decided that enough was enough...hubby stated "I ... morethought you was saved..). The nerve..lastly, when looking at the female characters...it was apparent that so much pain from their childhood was unresolved.
review 2: I must have to read the first book since I see in past reviews this is a sequel. However, I tried to start the other book Secrets and Lies, but this one has caught my attention early on. Yet, stories that start out with adulterous affairs and the mistress trying to storm and alarm the wife about cheating...then only want to see her reactions...and this troubled me so in the first few chapters. I know most people like to read dirt and to be entertained, yet I will see how this story transpires. less
