review 1: Very uplifting book! The author talked about things I've already known and learned and read about before but I've easily forgotten. This is something you can go back to and read over and over! Some passages in the book really caught my attention especially the one about the " crab mentality". I'm surprised he knew about this Filipino term. But then, he's traveled a lot and all over the world that I shouldn't be surprised. Please read this book! It will inspire you!
review 2: Picked this up to read while enjoying a cup of coffee at BN. By the time I finished that coffee, I was more than halfway done with this enjoyable little tome. I found the word jumped off the pages and resonated with me. I found Evans well able to teach without the preach. I think the m... moreessage is time tested and delivered in an engaging approachable manner. This book would be a good choice as a gift for a student, new graduate or a young person setting off on a career. less
