review 1: Michael Vey Rise of the Elgen by Richard Paul Evans is a great book.It is the second book in the Michael Vey series following Prisoner of Cell 25. It is very adventurous and exciting, with the ending leaving you wanting more. One cool thing that I really enjoyed about this book is Michael finally testing and learning cool new tricks with his powers other than just "pulsing" someone to pieces. I thought that the plot was paced good, without jumping to things. I also enjoyed the electric rats. At the beginning, I thought that the electric rats sounded really stupid, but the book sells it and explains it so that it adds to the storyline without having to come up with another bad guy. Overall, it was a very involving and creative book. I would recommend this to little kids, te... moreenagers, and young adults.
review 2: Michael Vey Rise of The ElgenRichard Paul EvansMichael Vey in this 2 installment of the sires has found himself and his group Called the Electroclan on the run from the the Elgen after escaping from the academy. He has evaded 2 traps already and he doesnt know how they keep finding him and thats when he gets some unexpected help. They voice or so they call him decide to save his mother and attack the biggest Elgen factory. And thats only the start of their problems. I thought this book was good because the author keeps you guessing with the multiple plot turns in the book like when the Elgen capture Michael Vey while his friends get out leaving them without leadership for the rest of book. And its very educational like teaching you about how electricity works.I reccommend this to middle schoolers and high schoolers because the kids are all that age so you can Relate to them less

Michael Vey: Rise of the Elgen is the second book in the Michael Vey series. It's about a group of teenagers with special electric powers called the electroclan. The whole book is about saving Michael's mom. They go to Peru and save Michael's mom. They sneak into the compound and blow up the power generator and all of the electoclan escape but Michael is caught by native people and the book ends. The genre is fantasy.
