review 1: Nothing original. Orphan boy, gets admitted to a secret boarding school, everyone hates him, there are cliques, then there is this special girls.. Yada-yada-yada.I'm not even saying it's Harry Potter with Assassins instead of magic. It's just what we have seen 9000 times in books, shows and movies about underdogs being admitted into special secret circles, and being secretly special and better than everyone else. Except this time it's with murder.Art-work is pretty neat though.
review 2: The art is fantastic, but the story felt a little cliche this time around. I feel like I've read so many boarding school for the weirdly talented type books it's hard to be original anymore. The second issue lost a lot of the dark gritty nature of the first one which is a sha
... moreme. I do want to keep reading the series to see what happens, this did end on a bit of a cliff hanger, but I think I will wait for the trade. less
