review 1: If I were reading no other Avengers title, I would think this is an epic pay-off to several acres of lackluster set-up. I like that the focus is really tight, character-wise, and that the characters at the center are usually at the margins. Leaving that aside, these characters are acting odd, given their background, and the group dynamic is nowhere near as organic as you had in something as perverse as Remender's X-Force. Nice, but there is better Remender work and better Avengers titles.
review 2: Not 100% sure what to think here. I like the amount of action and the (hopefully lasting) repercussions of this event. The art style wasn't the best, but also not bad. But......When is Marvel going to stop using time travel as a "fix all" to their problems? I underst... moreand time travel is a necessity when dealing with Kang, but when you look at other recent Marvel stuff and see how time reversal is being used to correct almost everything...... how can anything ever remain canon if you keep changing it.Recommend, but my faith in the Marvelverse is waining. less
