review 1: Fear Agent manages to be both an Epic Space Opera and an intimate story of a man and his grief at the same time.Rick Remender deftly switches between fighting aliens, to battling demons in a way that is not at all childish or cliche. As others have noted, the packaging is beautiful, with a sturdy binding and giant, thick , glossy pages oozing with pulpy sci-fi epicness. This certainly deserves a place on any comic fan's shelf. Just make sure its not too flimsy - this thing is pretty heavy!

... more get nostalgic over science-fiction, this book sure comes close.I felt I was reading the best from the EC era of comics, with a continuing plot.A relly fun book to own; Can't wait for the second volume to come out! less

A decent story unfortunately full of misogyny. I'm not sure that I'll read the next volume.

It's a pulpy version of Spaceman Spiff on Acid.
