review 1: Another cliff-hanger ending from Rinko Ueda (and here I thought this was going to be the last volume). I was glad that Soichiro finally comes up and commits to Sumi, however, I found it hard to believe that his resignation from the company left him penniless...he had no savings or valuables of his own to sell? They have to live in Sumi's brother's shack? Four stars for that minor plot hole. Otherwise, I'll be eagerly waiting the next volume in October.
review 2: Amazing new volume! Took long enough to release!*spoiler*in this series, Sumi's image becomes tainted. They find out that she has a brother and also that Sumi comes from a poor family. Soichiro loses his job at the company, in sacrifice for his love for Sumi (awww!) instead of keeping his job and lettin... moreg that psycho Nozumo Marry her and keep his job!Soichiro goes to live with Sumi and her 'brother' in her home in the poor suburbs. This is really hard for Soichiro as he is not used to this life, as he lives a very rich lifestyle. And also, very awkward when Soichiro wants to 'do it' with Sumi and her 'brother' walks in and also doing it next to the children!! (kids that Sumi adopted). Nozomu comes over and gives her money, which later Soichiro finds out and gets furious and throws the money at him. Later, Sumi receives roses from him! (she can't stand them because of what happened to her as a child) and this gets her into a fit and she faints. And then Nozomu sells out the property around her house and they have to move in a month!! It is also found out Sumi is adopted when her 'brother' eisuke tells Soichrio why she hates roses and how he isn't her real brother. We all knew that anyway though. Many fans will probably know Sumi is Nozomu's sister! And yes, it has been confirmed in an upcoming volume! (I didn't mean to see it, but it popped up online and it was blatantly obvious anyway). Which makes this sorta gross now, when Nozomu is obsessed with her and they also marry in the next volume (I've read it a bit). So..bordering on incest! I think in the next volume that Sumi jumps off a cliff too. I read it all I think by memory (online fan translations) pretty quickly, so I can't remember much. I think Sumi's ex wife told her to do it. You can read it online if you are interested, as the next volume comes out in October! Long wait! I remember seeing Sumi on q carriage with Nozomu and seeing Soichiro working. Sumo does it all for him though! less
