review 1: Oh man, RJ Scott is one of my go-to authors and I have no idea how I never got Deefur Dog! But wow, I was so happy to have found it now. As a dog owner, I was in love with Deefur from the get-go. After meeting Jason, who wouldn't love him. This book was so sweet and awesome to read I couldn't stop until I finished and then read the sequel short! So freaking awesome because it didn't have an insta love they both acted on. The MCs stewed on their feelings because of so many factors involved and when it did happen, it was sooooooo much sweeter. Awesome story!
review 2: A sweet novella that I just had to read since I have a Great Dane. I read about the book a while ago and added it to my to-read when the blurb said "...all while living with Deefur, a Great Dane who... more believes he rules the house. Nannies last a day, some don't even make it through the front door if the self-proclaimed ruler doesn't approve." beacuse I just saw my own little guard dig in those words. No one enters unapproved of of the lady herself. But back to the story, a short sweet read without any real conflict where everyone is loved and happy. In the beginning Cam's desperation is palpable and I almost cryed when he went to shelter but then Jason came along. less
