review 1: How Much for the Whole Night' by RJ Scott begins with Josh, drinking in a bar on the night before he goes to court, tired of pretending to be a good, straight father, he's about to explode from the sexual tension inside of him. To make matters worse, there's this gorgeous, sexy man, obviously a hooker, who keeps turning men down. Josh has to find out why. He propositions him but the guy says he can't afford him. Josh doesn't give up that easily though and they finally head to a seedy motel. What they find there is not what either of them expect.As the story progresses, we get insight into both men, although more so with Josh. All of his life, he's tried to do the right thing, even though he secretly craves a very different life, one where his penchant for men can be fulfi... morelled. He's waiting until he has custody of his son and then knows he will be free to be himself. Then he spies Ethan in a bar. Whether it is the alcohol or the supposed anonymity, he decides he can't wait. They find a more private place and proceed with the intention to deflower Josh and exit him out of the closet. I seriously felt like a voyeur, sitting right there watching, listening, practically feeling every touch as the two men have sex. Besides the physical side of things, the emotions were almost as overwhelming as the physical side of things with twists and turns one wouldn't usually find in this kind of hookup. Ethan can't stay as objective as he needs to be to do his job. He keeps getting tangled up with Josh's emotions, but he tries very hard not to let Josh know. Josh is understandably upset by the indifference Ethan portrays, even though he knows the score. There is something so right about their encounter, so electric. It leaves them both wondering what if?This is the sexiest, most erotic story of RJ's that I've ever read. I really got into the emotions of both men as they did an age old dance of power and dominance, with some of the hottest sex I've ever read about in a story. This short, titillating tale is well worth reading, especially if you want to get into a sensual zone. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking escape from their ordinary lives and into a world of sheer excitement, pleasure, and promise. Thank you, RJ. This book really hits the spot. I would absolutely love to see more of Josh and Ethan...please?
review 2: This was a basic short story that started much like many similar stories, although even though the plot was basic, it was well written. The sex was compelling, the characters just three dimensional enough, overall a great short read. But like I said, this could have been a great little short from any number of people. But then I got to the end and it became an RJ Scott story. So much so that I immediately emailed her to beg for the whole story. Fingers crossed! less
