review 1: What I liked the most was to learn how to name functions, procedures, classes, objects, packages, etc.based in the principle that every piece of code has to do just one task at a time, but do it pretty well.Clean code should be like reading a good recipe for a delicious although complex dish so other programmers could enjoy the way you provide services in code.Every potencial programmer must read this concepts in order to write cleaner and enjoyable code for himself and for the community sake!I found in this book, several reasons to make my work as professional and enjoyable as I can.
review 2: This is an excellent book, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who writes code for a living. You may not agree with much of it, but gaining the perspective is very val... moreuable. I've re-read it several times to try to really absorb it. "Uncle Bob" and his contributors go into fine detail on what makes clean code. It's hard to imagine that anyone who adhered to the tenants of this book could write the kind of monster/spaghetti code that causes developers to despair.Writing good, understandable, and bug-free code has always been a drive of mine. For a number of years I tried to find my own way, taking in various articles online and doing a lot of on-the-job experimentation. This book has felt like my first true teacher -- or perhaps sensei is better fitting. It solidified me on certain practices I believed important, and made me rethink others. less
