review 1: Not very Christmasy, but this book tells a good story. If I'd read some of the previous books I'm sure the minor characters would have meant more - there are a lot of them and after a while I didn't bother trying to keep their interrelationships straight. Still, the heroine is a bit different from the usual and the subplot was fun and different, too. So it's worth reading if you're in the mood for a light contemporary romance.
review 2: A pretty short and sweet addition to the Virgin River series. I really liked the somewhat sassy Angie and always like the super hot & rugged Riordan brothers. I've got to do a little googling to see if this is really the swan song for Virgin River or just the last currently released. I know #19 set up a character to spin off for... more her new Thunder Point series so maybe this was just a holiday special. less
