review 1: This book was about a man named Ewblo, and he hacked and made a virus to control all computers an all electronics. So one day Marcline,Finn, and Jake wanted to play video games so the video game BMO started to start the game and then they started play the game, and they were all playing then Finn then realize that Marcline was playing better than they were and had a higher score so when they got to the end of the game they all saw a ewblo sign. When they got out of the game they asked BMO who Ewblo was BMO said I don't know who Ewblo is they all said ok but while they were sleeping BMO was acting weird. So they called Marcline and she came over to see what was wrong with BMO. And BMO started flipping out.The next day Finn and Jake went to find out who Ewblo was and they never ... morefound out who he was so they were going home and BMO tried to run away then when they got to where BMO was taking them they found Ewblo and they fought him in the digital world and they got him to stop the virus and be their friend.
review 2: Adventure Time Volume 3 continues on the stellar interpretation of the hit Adventure Time show, written by Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics fame. Volume 3 is packed full of all the same hidden jokes, joyful heart and sense of wonder that has made Adventure Time work in both comic and cartoon form. There are stories about machine apocalypses, bygone love and the nature of villainy, under the funny, quirky, bright guise of a stupid kid's show. The subtle mix of outlandish, loud inanity and reserved seriousness is brilliant and is fully retained leading into these latest issues. What makes volume 3 especially exciting is the short story, "Choose Your Own Adventure Time," an experiment in non-linear storytelling that keeps you guessing for a good long time. It's a meticulously detailed extended gag, but it has enough gimmick-defying twists to entertain you for far longer than the (too few) pages it runs for should. It's an amazing issue, a creative tour de force that showcases both North's and artist's Paroline and Lamb's inspired talents when let loose onto the page with no ultimatum to be sensible. Definitely the best volume of the ongoing series to date, and for those following the series, a real treat. It's pretty radical! less
