review 1: First in a series...A tragic accident where mother is accused of shooting his father and then herself when he was 16 has sent Oliver on a path of self destruction. Now his granmother says that he and his 4 sibling have one year to marry or get cut out of the will. Oliver plans to sock his gran out of that scheme, but choosing a lady of ill repute as his bride...Marie and her cousin Freddy are in London from America looking for her fiance who hasn;t been seen or heard from in a few months...Freddy and Marie follow a man who is carrying a satchel that Marie gave her fiance into a brothel where they met up with Oliver. Cute and enjoyable.
review 2: I'm a huge fan of romance. Always have loved a really good love story. This one did not disappoint. Surprisingly
... more, this is the first book that I have read by Sabrina Jeffries. Why have I not picked her books up earlier? Like any historical romance, this book had it all from the dark and striking leading man to the woman that wins his heart. There's plenty of romance, humor, mystery, conspiracy, and just plain good writing to make this particular romance one heck of a read. I couldn't put it down once I started it and that's a sure fire way to tell that a particular book has caught my full attention. I'm really looking forward to reading the second book in this series. less

Çok şekerlerdi yaa :D Büyükannenin hastalığının da düzmece olduğundan şüpheleniyorum.

Fun and light historical romance. Utterly implausible but aren't they all? Lol.
