review 1: Bu kitabı uzun zamandır okumak istiyordum. Çünkü Gabriel gibi haylaz ve pervasız bir lordun Virginia gibi nefret dolu bir kızı nasıl yumuşatacağını aşırı merak ediyordum. Nihayet kitabı bitirdim. Fakat büyük bir hayal kırıklığına da uğradım. Bu kitap diğer üçüne nazaran her ne kadar akıcı olsa da benim beklentilerimi hiçbir şekilde karşılamadı. Evet, maalesef bunu söylemek zorundayım. Şahsen ben Virginia'nın uzun bir süre yumuşamamasını ve Gabriel'ı daha fazla süründürmesini beklerdim. Akıp gidiyor kitap -ki bir günde bitirdim- ancak keşke daha iyi olabilirdi. Ve son olarak, yazar bence yazma şeklini değiştirmeli. Çünkü bu serinin okuduğum dört kitabı da aynı şekilde ilerliyordu. Yazar bu kalıptan kurtulmadığı sürece kitapları ilk günkü heyecanı vermeyecek (Hadi ama, kim olaylarını tahmin edebileceği kitabı severek okuyabilir ki!) Her şeye rağmen boş zamanımı keyifli geçirmemi sağladı bu kitap. Umarım yazar aynı hatalara serinin son kitabında düşmez...
review 2: This book reminds me so much of family. I have always loved romantic books. In this there is a rimance a oittle bit of action, mystery, family and friend's. Virginia is a stubborngirl who wants a love marriage and fairy tale romance but when her brother dies jn a freak accident she blames the other rider, Gabriel for his death. In anger she challenges him to a race, a wager. Id Virginia wins they will race at the same track that he and her brother did. If he wins she will let him court her. Thats where everything gets interesting for me. She finds out that she is VERY attractEd to him. But her grandfather also blams him for the death of his grandson. Alsoo the Gabriel and his brother's annd sister's, including sister jn laws, want to know the truth of their parent's death. So they are investigating that. I would like to say thst this book made me smile, literally. Loved it. Kept me on my toes neevergot bored. Nothing about it ok disliked. You can read it as a stand alone. But if you want to understand better. Start from the top. I'll do the same after th e comp is repaired. less
