review 1: It started off a bit dull and slow, she's a bit stalkerish - I said a bit? I mean total full on stalkerish....who watches a man from your sitting room in the dark every night without his knowledge? After they get it on I think "oh it's a nice love story" How wrong was I? It made me uncomfortable reading the last part of the book - he went way too far. Even though he came to realise this in time I don't think I could trust him again. I felt physically sick reading it. All the time while he was putting her through her "ordeal" I was silently screaming "SAFEWORD, JUST SAY THE SAFE WORD FFS" I'll carry on with the restof the series though, as I'd like to see how their relationship develops.
review 2: I wasn't sure about this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. Do
... moreminic is deliciously dark kind of like Christian Grey. Beth isn't how I expected her character to be. She was a surprise that was exactly what I needed from her. I love that Beth speaks up and does not have that annoying inner monologue instead of conveying her feelings through speech. Loved this book, can't wait to see what happens next between Dominic and Beth. less
