review 1: It took me forever to finish this book. I could usually finish a book this long in a few hours but it took me all day. The reason? Angel. She was got on my nerves to bad, I wanted to slap her. I can understand she's reluctant and scared but she took it to a whole new level. She's got to be the MOST immature psychologist I've ever read. Doing the school math...she was 18 when she graduated from high school, 21 when she got her undergraduate, she had to do at least another 6 years (and probably 8) to get her masters, doctorate and then do her internship. That makes her, AT LEAST, 29 years old and she's so immature and closed off I cannot understand how she could possibly be a good counselor. I've got the 3rd book and hope it's a quicker read since she (seems) to fina... morelly have gotten her crap together. Still love me some Alex. Good guy. WAY Alpha male. He's the only reason I want to finish this trilogy.
review 2: WOW THIS IS ONE CRAZY READ !!This story has it all , and in great quantities !! We have SEX , super hot and just wow so good !! There is drama , danger , suspense , love all the good things wrapped into book 2 !! Your head may spin and you may want to freak but this book is great and possibly my fave of the 3 !! Because of this my review will be vague , no spoilers and no rambling !! We already know that Alex and Angel have a super hot chemistry. They are both anti relationship but there is no denying they both want more and despite being stubborn it shows over and over again in their actions. Angel's work has brought on some serious danger and since Alex is one of those super hot alpha males you know this isn't going to go over well. As she tries to solve her case Alex tries to protect her and lies and secrets may possibly end up destroying them. Hang on tight and be warned Angel gets a little wishy washy and you may want to strangle her but again these two are destined to be together so just enjoy their moments of hot sex and be on the edge of your seat for some suspense !! I loved getting to know Alex's family and I just loved the loving side of Alex. I am hoping for good things to come and cannot wait for more. I love stories that have you feeling so many emotions all at once and this is one of them !! Didn't want to put it down. less
