review 1: This book was pretty cute and I liked the very detailed pictures they were excellent for working on inferencing with my students. I like how it hit the point of how our perceptions of people should constantly change with each new situation, because you never know how a person is going to react to the situation at hand and they may surprise you even if you have known them your whole life. Also, I enjoyed how it showed that every action you make has an impact on those around you whether it be cruel or kind intentional or unintentional.
review 2: This is a chapter book about a little girl named Clementine. It's her turn to become friend of the week at school. That week happens to be a very hectic week... as she is trying to do good deeds so everyone will have some
... morething nice to write about her in her booklet, her 'best friend' becomes mad at her and her beloved pet cat gets lost. Since this is a chapter book I would recommend it to upper elementary students. They may find some sort of connection with Clementine. If I had to bring this into a classroom lesson I would do it if we had a lesson on things not seeming to appear as they are and sometimes you just need to sit back and relax.
