review 1: Ferguson and Madeline make for some hot and heavy reading in this one. I honestly enjoyed Madeleine's passion for acting and her commitment to her craft. She's strong and opinionated. I enjoyed her mental battles being a spinster on the shelf. Her life has been lived being dependent on her cousin with no family of her own. All the characters are heavily invested in this story, so it made for wonderful reading. Its a wonderful read. I am definitely interested in reading about all the others in this series.
review 2: Another free book bub, and Ramsey's 1st book. I enjoyed it. The heroine is 27 so that made it a little more interesting, and she is an actress, with her 2 friends, also 27, they form the Muses of the series title. I may read the next books (I think th
... moreere are 4 more). The story was also pretty unique, Duke with bad reputation who has been in Scotland for 10 years, French orphan living with English mother's family who feels stifled by society, but loved by her family. She thinks never to marry, as does he, but love ensues. less
