review 1: Cute little cozy mystery that I got free for my Kindle. It was very clean, really what a cozy should be (no language, sex or violence). Apparently it's part of a series, but I definitely read it as a stand-alone book just fine. Ellie is a military wife, on a semi-vacation with her husband in Washington DC (while he's in a training seminar). She and some of her friends take a sight-seeing tour and on the first day, witness a man being pushed to his death at a Metro stop. Funny, but Ellie has seen this man, and he works with her sister-in-law. Typical cozy, but a nice, light read :)
review 2: Getting Away Is Deadly is the third in a mystery series featuring military wife Ellie and was a fun read.Ellie and her husband are in DC for specialized air force trai... morening that he is attending. While supposed to be part of a tour group with the other military wives, she ends up investigating to clear her sister from allegations of pushing someone to their death in the Metro. In the process, she becomes the next target of the killer.I plan to purchase the earlier books in the series soon and then continue on with the later books in the series. I'm expecting a lot more fun reading ahead. ~grin~ less
