review 1: I gave the first book 3 stars, in a fit of optimism. Continuing through the second one just became an exercise in tedium. I'm just not buying it. These guys don't act like tough alphas at all. Seems more like high school. And the editing was pretty awful. Spelling and grammar errors often enough that they actually annoyed me, and I'm generally pretty forgiving about that. And too many POV changes. In fact, there were several instances where the wrong names were used. Oh well. Not sure I will bother with the next book.
review 2: Hats off to Sara York for book #2 in this new energy driven, exciting series. This one shows us Zander and Marshal who by the way have a long way to go. We also got to see the beginning of Grant and Roger. The military missions keep comi... moreng, as do the military cowboys. These stories are HOT, there's just something about wide open spaces. I love the way the author writes the missions and how she picks who will go. It brings forward new layers for those characters. Terrific story, outstanding series!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS AFFORDABLE OUTSTANDING SERIES!! less
