review 1: All I can say is Wow! If you haven’t read any of the Texas Soul Series I suggest you start in order with Texas rough, though these all stand-alone just fine and once you read one you will want to read them all. I loved the way this one started out with some of the character profiles.Jump shows up at the Crazy horse ranch to get even with the man he thinks is his biological father. He believes it is Gresh because of a photo he found when he left foster care and got his mother’s belongings. At 18 he is a bitter, angry young man. Bruce long is the deputy Sheriff and finds Jump sleeping on a bench. He is immediately intrigued. There is a lot of story in this one. There are so many twists and turns in here it leaves you reeling! I am such a fan of this series. I waited im... morepatiently and wasn’t disappointed. The foursome continues with Lane, Gresh and Riley and Connor. Wow can it get hotter? You won’t want to put it down until you are done as you go for story to story and twist after twist I was left in Awe! Oh and a huge Shocker! I sure can’t wait till spring for the fifth installment.Recommendations: If you like cowboys, lawmen doctors, foursomes, super- hot sex, and loving relationships this is for you!
review 2: The three stars are for the Jump/Bruce story. They are really cute together and I liked the way Bruce wanted to protect Jump and how Jump was fighting to be his own man and finally realized maybe letting someone else help and love him wasn't being weak. I still don't like the Riley/Connor/Lane/Gresh story. At all. I think it's a huge mistake and that nobody is as Ok with things as they say they are. And of course what can I say about the ending except that I'm compelled to see what happens. less

The story started out with such promise but I lost all interest in the characters by the end.
