review 1: Another excellent outing by Ms. Mayberry. Zach and Audrey are two well drawn characters with chemistry to spare and complex lives outside of their romance. Ms. Mayberry’s romances don’t have complex, action intense plots, but always deal with the emotional side of a romance very, very well. This is no exception. I didn’t realize that this is a second book, and an earlier book focuses on Audrey’s sister, but I’m looking forward to reading it.
review 2: Sarah Mayberry nails each and every one of her books, this naturally is no exception. I read the sample and pre-ordered it and ill have to say it was worth every penny. Audrey Mathews suffered from insecurities because of her misspent youth. A former wild child, she's always been a bit of a disappoint... morement to her parents who are professionals. She's lived her entire adult life trying to atone for her past. Enter Zac Black 'the man with the golden ass', he's Audrey's colleague at work and she erroneously pegs him as an arrogant,rich SOB. She eventually realizes that she's mistaken and that Zac is infact a boy from the wrong tracks, who has managed to build a career for himself inspite of the hand life's dealt him. His mom is a junkie and his childhood wasn't exactly a bed of roses. Ultimately, they end up together. As usual, Sarah's style of storytelling captivates you, leaves you feeling every emotion and wanting much more! less
