review 1: I enjoyed reading from the two women's perspectives, however I need to stop buying books that center in another country... I just don't enjoy so much how another language flows, the whole time I get caught up on their "accent" but that is just my issues, overall the context of the book was great! The idea of hearing an affair from both sides while it's happening is brillant, the ending was too expected, could have guessed that outcome... so a little boring towards the end.
review 2: I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. If you have ever wondered how someone could get involved with a married man/woman then this is a book for you. The Other Half tells the story of a man and two women, his wife and his mistress. When I first read the cover I
... more wasn't sure how I would feel about reading this book because adultery is a big no-go for me. However, Sarah Rayner pulled me into the story of Jamie and how he chose to cheat on his wife. Maggie is a loving and committed wife, they have a child together, she takes care of the house and child. Why does Jamie want or need more than her? He says he loves her but suddenly it isn't enough. Chloe is a young, vibrant worker and has plans for her future. What makes her willing to be the other woman? This is a story that pulls you in and you have to know where it is going to end. It shows the inner turmoil of the people involved and in the end you realize there really are no winners in an affair. less

This was my first Sarah Rayner read. It was an easy read. Not a fan of any of the characters.
