review 1: This series has really screwed with my head. In each previous book I wished for Jeremy to suffer a painful death, preferably at Lilly's hand. By the end of this book he'd shown remorse for everything and he finally granted her freedom. Even though this is what I wanted, I still don't know if I can forgive Jeremy. What worries me is that I want to. Scarlett Edwards has created a character that I've both loved and hated. She's expertly manipulated all of my feelings time and again. I read the first 6 books within 24 hours. I desperately want to read the next part but it isn't released yet. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
review 2: I knew that Jeremy's obsession with Lilly probably had something to do with his mom, but not in the way that it actually did ... morehappen. I think that Lilly is slowly falling victim to Stockholm Syndrome since she keeps making excuses as to why she is not ready to leave him yet. Even though Jeremy is slowly changing, I just wish we could read his pov to find out how he really feels and why he does what he does. I just hope that the next part doesn't take too long to come out. less
