review 1: This book is a must read for anyone considering or in the depths of an indie writing/publishing career. There are a plethora of ways this book can help shape the type of writer you are. The authors focus on writing, as you would expect but also show aspiring indie writers the entrepreneurial and business side of the industry. There is a great message for all writers regardless of whether they are on, behind or in front of the fence when it comes to indie publishing and thats it takes an enormous amount of work to succeed.
review 2: Write, Publish, Repeat is a MUST for ANY writer (regardless of whether you write fiction, non-fiction, or any genre on the planet) before they even consider sending out query letters for their first novel. Too many writers out there
... moreare still under the false assumption that traditional publishing is the only way to go. Until about a year ago, I was one of those people…until I found the Self- Publishing Podcast. If you already listen to SPP, Write Publish Repeat is like SPP Abridged, but it is still worth reading. It’s like they take all of the important bits from the podcast and laid it all out. Yes, you could get all of this information from the podcasts, but considering that there are now 100 episodes of SPP, and each one is an hour long, the 10-hour audio book or the read-at-your-own-pace book is a LOT easier to digest. I can’t recommend this book enough. less
