review 1: Four and a half stars. I am loving this series. I found that when I wasn't reading it, I was still thinking about it. The action really ramped up in this season. Boricio Wolfe is one of the most interesting characters I've come across in fiction in some time. I had to take off a half star because I found the last 20% of the book didn't keep my interest. I will be continuing along with this, though. It is still an exciting story with a unique way of telling it.
review 2: I enjoyed the series and this season does a good job wrapping up the loose ends and either killing off or giving an explanation to each person and their role in what was happening in the world, while leaving the story open for future stories. The main problem was that there was a lot of
... morejumping around in time, which was probably in the 1/3-1/2 of the whole season for showing what led up to the "event" that has been the focus for the past 18 "episodes". It was a little jarring and could be confusing about what's going on, a problem that was likely to arise anyway with as many characters as they had, especially when they started "doubling up" on them. less
