review 1: My public library was have one of those amazing yearly book sales where you can fill 2 rather large tote back for $10.00. Somehow I managed to cram about 30 books into two bags, this being one of them, making this book a huge bargain. I enjoyed the Sentinel story line, the back story and plot. I like the fact that other points of view were given as well as the birth of many side stories to build the series. Upon reading other reviewers, I found many varying opinions of the quality of the story. For me, it was an enjoyable read overall, fast paced, kept me interested with the desire to learn more, and want to pick up the second in the series.
review 2: 2.5No sé..... no me convenció y ademas de que todo sucedió demasiado rápido..... 3 días??? no lo creo :(Q... moreuizás me lea el siguiente para ver si mejora, pero creo que sera en un tiempo lejano, no muy atrayente el libro.... la historia de los demonios y los cantinelas, no tiene mala pinta, pero debería haber desarrollado mejor todo eso, sobre todo en relación a la condición de Helen... ¿Cómo es que nadie sabia de eso? ¿Quien es su padre? ¿Lo del fuego que quemaba sus casas??? En fin mejor no seguir diciendo las demás cosas que no supo desarrollar,como la cantidad de TIEMPO en que trascurrió toda la historia, sigo insistiendo demasiado rápido. less
