review 1: This is billed as a Paranormal Romance. Really? Very little character development and I was more than 100 pages in and still trying to figure out what I was missing. Definitely not a stand-alone book as there is too much missing to follow these characters. Too many characters (with very small or meaningless roles) introduced too quickly which made it very hard to follow what the main characters were supposed to be doing. Romance? There was none. Have read a number of Paranormal Romances and this one was scattered and all over the map. Definitely not for adults, clean up the language a bit and it would be more fitting as a Young Adults book. Sorry, just my opinion.
review 2: Toni wasn't likable a lot of the times, and her friend Livy made me want to skip Bite Me
... more. She was mean to Blayne for no reason, even though Blayne was trying to help out. I never really felt she had any real lasting feelings for Ricky and the book dragged when it was focused on the two of them. So far I've enjoyed this series, and I adore Bo, not going to lie his OCD ass makes me smile. This book wasn't even in the same league as the others in my opinion. Most of Toni's family annoyed me. I did like Freddy though. less
