review 1: 3+I liked Crush, the cranky polar, better than Cella, but I still have no notion why they would be together in the end.Series rating: 7/10 (good)This series contains action and humor with (non-hardcore) paranormal elements. Although each of the books is self-contained, it would be helpful to read them in order, to keep the numerous recurring characters and relationships straight. Within the books, I especially liked the bears and the hybrids and that there are a number of characters (including main ones) that are persons of color. Favorites:#2, 4 & 5

The idea of a polar bear (shifter) MC was intriguing to me, so I read this book even though I haven't read any others in the series. Though it was a bit boring at times shifting through all the names of the many characters I didn't know, in general I really enjoyed the book, the universe, and the romance. Good writing with fun banter. I want to read more of this series now. Reminds me a bit of Molly Harper, which is one of my favorites, but more plot-heavy.

These characters are crazy, but damned if I don't love them. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Cella as she's over the top and violent. However, I did like her. Crush was very "bear" like which I completely adore. His fangirling over Bo amused the heck out of me and I'm so happy that Bo has a friend. He's such an asshole that I didn't think it would happen. :)Laurenston's sense of humour still gets me. I spend half my time laughing with these books.
