review 1: I have been loving this series...but...I listen on audio and the voices are going downhill. The first few were really good readers, the last two or three have gotten steadily worse. This one was ridiculous. The teen girl voices were annoying, Rory Sue sounds awful, and so does Walter and some others! Just read the story! There really is no need for every person to have a different voice. Other than that, the book was very good, except I really wasn't interested to read about anorexia again. Luckily, it just touched on it a bit since most of the story was about Raylene.
review 2: This was a great book that Sherryl Woods dealt with domestic violence takes on many faces and have the victim Raylene having dealt with so much abuse by her ex-husband. Which unfortuna
... moretely has left her shut in at Sarah's house. Raylene can't seem to go outside without a huge panic attack. While watching Sarah's kids Tommy the older of the two takes off and is picked by an officer while Raylene is outside freaking out about not being able to find him.Carter Rollins learns early that there is more to know about Raylene Hammond that she has some issues that prevent her from doing certain things. Carter is also raising his two sisters after their parents died. Which creates alot of teen angst. The lengths Carter goes to for love of Raylene is so romantic trying to protect her and not smother her. To watch their relationship grow even with the panic attacks and family drama they both suffer. What an incredible moving story. less

Good book. Pretty much what I expected in a romance novel, but I did like it. :)
